Why flip a coin at all
A coin flip is the fastest way to end a two-way stalemate, and it does something a discussion cannot: it removes responsibility for the outcome. Nobody has to justify the decision afterwards. There is also the well-known trick of noticing how you feel while the coin is in the air — if you are quietly hoping for tails, you have your answer without needing the result.
Fairness
A real coin is not perfectly fair; the way it is flipped and caught biases the outcome slightly. This wheel has no such physics. Each side is drawn with equal probability from the browser's cryptographic random source, and past flips have no influence on the next one — a run of five heads does not make tails any more likely.

- Can I do best of three?
- Yes. The tally panel counts heads and tails so you can flip until one side reaches two wins.
- Can I rename heads and tails?
- Yes. Edit the slice labels to the two options you are actually deciding between.
- Does a streak change the odds?
- No. Each flip is independent, so five heads in a row does not make tails more likely next time.
- Can I change the colours of the wheel?
- Yes. Tap the palette button at the top-right of the wheel to pick from nine themes — Classic, Rainbow, Candy, Neon, Ocean, Jungle, Sunset, Pastel and Birthday — or choose Default to restore the wheel's own colours.
